WhiteKnights Football Festival 2008

Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May

University of Reading (Bulmershe Site)

Dear Sir/Madam

Your club is cordially invited to our annual 6-a-side football tournament to be held on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2008.  As in previous years, the festival is being held at the University of Reading (Bulmershe Site) – a map of the location can be found here.  There will be ample parking, which will be FREE on purchase of the Festival Program of the day.

Our Biggest Festival Ever!

In 2007, over 200 teams took part in the tournament.  This year's festival is planned to be the largest the club has ever had with more age groups playing than ever before.  Girls are very welcome in all the groups up to U11 and like many clubs we are keen to promote the girls game so we have four additional Girls only sections.

What are the details?

Saturday 17th May 2008*

U7's and U8's will be run in a 'fair play' environment with all children participating in these two age groups receiving a medal. U9/U16/U17's and U10/U12/U14/U16's Girls will have league matches followed by both a cup and plate knockout Competition.

Sunday 18th May 2008*

U10/U11/U12/U13/U14/U15 will have league matches followed by both a cup and plate knockout Competition.

What else will be there?

The event will be fun for all the family.  As well as the games, there will be:

·        Refreshments Tent

·        Gourmet Hotdogs, bacon rolls and Burgers

·        Test your speed in the sprint speed test

·        Various stalls

·        Tournament photographers

Come and meet Kingsley!

Yes – our special guest for the Festival will be The Royals very own Kingsley.  Come along and meet him, or better still get your picture taken with him.

How much does the event cost?

The entry fee for all events is £30 per team.  If you enter and pay before March 31st the entry fee is reduced to £25 per team.  Special Club Discount for multiple teams from the same club who enter and pay before March 31st AND also enter 10 teams or more on one entry form the entry fee is reduced to £20 per team.

Please fill in the attached Entry Form and return the form and fees to our Festival Coordinator, Sue Adkins - all details are included on the form.
