In recognition of the season just commenced being the Club’s 25th since its inauguration, Broadstone Football Club has just launched a “Silver Fund” with the aim of raising the grand sum of £25,000.
The Club is desperate for funding to improve both its training and playing amenities. With approximately 300 members aged 6-18 – both boys and girls – playing in 22 teams, the Club is hoping to develop various facilities, which will include projects at both Corfe Hills and Broadstone Middle schools with whom the Club is working as a community partner.
Over the course of the next nine months, the Club plans to organise a number of fund raising events, and will be looking to the local community and businesses for support and contributions.
Anyone who feels they may be able to help or contribute, or has any ideas for fund raising, is asked to e-mail bfcsilverfund@aol.com, or telephone 693082
