Hello and thank you for visiting our web site. Here you will find the profiles of our teams, directions to our pitches and other information about our club.
Broadstone Football Club started in 1982 and until last year, Geoff Hare had been an officer of the club and Chairman for all those years. During those 25 years, the club has grown from a single team until now it has 22 teams and nearly 295 of Broadstone youngsters, both boys and girls, playing football for at least 40 weeks a year. The Club receives support from its parents and all funds are raised by the clubs members and its kit sponsors but without any help from Local or Central Government. Many thanks to the sponsors, many of whom help us year after year, please visit our sponsor section to see who they are.
Parents, General Committee members, managers and their assistants, give up more than 4000 hours per year to help give the players a high quality of training and activity. The success of the teams is not only measured by the results on match day, but by the enthusiasm and sportsmanship shown by the boys and girls.
If you want to contact any of us for information or to see where we play, the link is at the bottom of every page.
Check out the agenda for our AGM at the Rec on 9 July in MS Word or PDF. Note it will NOT be at the hall as stated in the EOS Programme.
Check out the fabulous photos from our End of Season Tournament here.
Teams in the south (and even Europe) have begun to publish details of their tournaments for this year. See details here. More tournaments added 30/03/09.
The Club are, again, collecting the Tesco vouchers to help us to acquire further training equipment. Collection points will be either the manager/social representative or any committee member.
There is a Captains' Blog for all teams to contribute to, and post messages and pictures about their teams' progress during the season. If any teams would like access to post their own reports each week, then please send an email to us (see the link at the bottom of the page) to get instructions.

As you may be aware there is a new initiative being piloted by the FA called 'Respect'. It is designed to change the way players, officials and spectators interact and stamp out some of the yobbish behaviour we see so often at professional level all the way down to grass roots. By making these changes it is hoped it will make the game better for all concerned and, amongst other things, stem the flood of refs and officials leaving the sport due to harassment. The most fundamental changes are as follows:
Check out the links for players, coaches, referees and parents at the bottom of the Respect page.
